The four young musicians of the Brompton String Quartet have recently won the Royal College of Music String Quartet competition.  They met as students at the RCM, having come from Slovenia, South Korea, Poland and the UK.  In 2019 they also won the St Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Music Competition.  They were a featured Making Music Artist for 2020-21.  Peter Copley chose them to play his new third string quartet at his 60th birthday concert in Brighton in March 2022, and some of your committee were so impressed by both the piece and their playing that we invited the Brompton to play it in Lewes.  We are sure you will share our enthusiasm.
